I have competed in swimming, running and modern pentathlon. Although I don’t compete anymore, I still like to swim and run and keep active through a variety of sports.

Individual bronze medal and team silver medal at the Laser Run World Championships 2019.

What languages do you speak?
English and Spanish.

What are your passions and hobbies?
I enjoy taking part in sports, dancing and other fun activities. I also like learning about other countries and cultures, learning languages and baking for my friends and family.

What is your secret superpower (or one you would like to have)?
I think it would be very fun to teleport and transport myself to anywhere I wanted, instantly, and travel all over the world!

What is your favourite dish from your country?
I was born in Scotland, and my favourite dish from there is Stovies (beef stew with potatoes, served with beetroot and oatcakes).

Who is the most inspiring athlete for you?
The Australian swimmer Cody Simpson because he demonstrates that no matter which path you choose or what your journey looks like, it is never too late to pursue your dreams and with determination and commitment you can achieve all your goals.

The words I live by are… (motivational quote)
Where there is a will there is a way.

What motivated you to apply for the EYOA programme?
I believe that sport has the power to teach so many positive values and useful skills and that these can be instilled from a young age in a fun and exciting way. This is something I want to continue to promote through being an EYOA, to help support the growth and development next generation of athletes and Olympians.

What are your goals as an EYOA?
I want to share the Olympic Values with young athletes in a fun and exciting way and help give them an unforgettable experience that will develop skills that will empower them in sport and in other areas of life in the future.

What would be your dream job in the future?
I would like to continue working in sport and in events, working with athletes and making sure that everyone can enjoy themselves through participating or watching sport. In many ways, I am already in my dream job!

What are your expectations of being an EYOA?
I am looking forward to using my creative and innovative side to find new ways in which we can share the Olympic Values and power of sport. I want to not only create a fun experience for the athletes but also make many friends and have fun myself. I am excited to learn about other cultures and hear everyone else’s stories.

What does Olympism mean to you?
Olympism means upholding the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect every day and in all areas of life. It is putting your best foot forward in everything that you do, making the most out of every opportunity and helping others do the same.
