What is your sport? Are you an amateur or professional?
Alpine skiing. I am a professional.

What is your biggest sports achievement?
I am the Icelandic U20 Champion. I participated at the YOG Lausanne 2020. I finished 8th in the U18 Norwegian Championship.

What languages do you speak?
Icelandic, Norwegian, English, and a little bit of German.

What are your passions and hobbies?
I like training, both strength and conditioning. I also like playing soccer and being outside in the mountains. I am also very social, so I like hanging out with friends.

What is your secret superpower (or one you would like to have)?
I think my superpower is that I’m kind to everyone I meet.

What is your favourite dish from your country?
Meatballs in brown gravy with potatoes.

Who is the most inspiring athlete for you?
Aksel Lund Svindal.

Respect, be kind, and have fun.

What motivated you to apply for the EYOA programme?
That I can take part in the sport while I’m injured and see what you can do in sport besides competing.

What are your goals as an EYOA?
To learn more about the program and everything that happens behind the championships.

What would be your dream job in the future?
I would love to be a teacher, but I would also love to have some kind of work that could involve me in sport.

What are your expectations of being an EYOA?
I expect to learn a lot about what goes on behind the scenes and gain new experiences. At the same time, I expect to make new friends and take part in something big.

What does Olympism mean to you?
For me, it means sport, friends, respect, and joy.
