ABOUT VORALBERG 2015

The 2015 Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), held from January 25 to 30, was the first to be co-hosted by two nations: Austria’s Vorarlberg region and Liechtenstein. Approximately 1,500 athletes from 45 countries competed in eight sports, including Alpine skiing, biathlon, and ice hockey, across venues in both countries. The event centered in the Montafon Valley, with highlights like the new ski jumping center in Tschagguns. The festival’s motto, “Rock the Alps,” captured the spirit of this international youth event and the beautiful landscape in which it unfolded.

Rock the Alps!
