ABOUT ŚLĄSK-BESKIDY 2009
The 2009 edition of the Winter EYOF was held in the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland, where athletes from across Europe gathered to compete in the region’s winter sports facilities. Events ranged from alpine skiing to curling to figure skating, with Poland stepping up as a host capable of managing a large-scale youth sports festival. The Silesian setting, with its combination of urban and natural environments, gave the 1615 participants a varied and exciting experience.
