ABOUT VUOKATTI 2001

The 2001 edition of the Winter EYOF took place in Vuokatti, Finland, a destination well-regarded for its high-quality winter sports infrastructure. Vuokatti embraced the cold, offering a perfect setting for events such as ice hockey, figure skating, and various skiing disciplines. Athletes competed under harsh winter conditions, which added an extra layer of challenge to the games. Vuokatti’s hosting helped further establish Finland’s reputation in nurturing young winter sports talent, and did so so well that the Winter EYOF returned to this Vuokatti once again in 2022.

Ready to shine!
