The Kraków-Małopolska 2023 European Games marked a significant event in the sporting world, featuring a diverse array of sports and athletes from across Europe. With almost 7,000 athletes participating in 29 sports, the games showcased exceptional talent and fierce competition. One unique aspect was the utilisation of innovative venues and technology, providing an immersive experience for both athletes and spectators, while also sustainably reusing and adapting existing venues across the beautiful city. Moreover, Krakow’s rich cultural heritage added a distinct flavour to the event, blending sportsmanship with a celebration of history and tradition. The games served as a platform not only for sporting excellence but also for promoting unity and camaraderie among European nations.
