ABOUT BELGRADE 2007
The 2007 Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) took place in Belgrade, Serbia, from July 22 to July 27, 2007. This significant event gathered around 3,000 young athletes from 49 European NOCs, competing across 11 sports and 100 events. The festival, hosted at notable venues like the Belgrade Arena and Partizan Stadium, featured competitions in athletics, gymnastics, judo, swimming, and more. The event served as a platform for future stars, including Lithuania’s Andrius Gudžius, who later became a world champion in discus.
